lyrics
Turn my bones into sand, erode me in vain
Wash my grains in your ocean and rain.
Cerebral lobotomy, tie me to chains
Wrapped in the arms of indifferent pain.
On four in the spring, born on predestined days;
On two in the summer in half-noble parades.
On weakened sinews, we fall with the interned,
Until you break our bastions in cold-fire winters.
Rust of the tongue, waste of the brain
Sysiphus lives in us awake.
Boulders and thorns, we become from earth
In sands our bones now await.
Boulders and thorns, we beacon from earth
Into plains of pure nothingness.
If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
Sometimes you really gotta see a band live for it to really sink in. I didn't "get" this band till I saw them live with Brujeria. Really great set of grinding/thrashing metal. Looking forward to seeing this band get bigger/better. Bart
A refined, yet unpredictable vision of metallic hardcore from Atlanta's Hubris Cannon, featuring elements of grind, sludge, and more. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 9, 2022
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
