lyrics
Arrows are flung at invisible suns,
To fracture the spines of their thread-woven hearts
In search of life's gold, some go far and wide
But only northward and southward where the shores freeze our pride.
To find what's in search, man must trade his compass,
Look beyond its' dimension, into knowledge trespass.
Don't deny, that man alone invented meaning.
Don't take part, in grandiose notions, frightened feelings.
Nature looks to us unbound, we are not to be in shrouds.
Know that life, life has no inherent meaning.
Don't take part in this senseless rebellion to life.
If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
Sometimes you really gotta see a band live for it to really sink in. I didn't "get" this band till I saw them live with Brujeria. Really great set of grinding/thrashing metal. Looking forward to seeing this band get bigger/better. Bart
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A refined, yet unpredictable vision of metallic hardcore from Atlanta's Hubris Cannon, featuring elements of grind, sludge, and more. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 9, 2022
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
